Evangelism Ministry

Matthew 28:19-20 (MSG): Jesus, undeterred, went right ahead and gave his charge: “God authorized and commanded me to commission you: Go out and train everyone you meet, far and near, in this way of life, marking them by baptism in the threefold name: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Then instruct them in the practice of all I have commanded you. I’ll be with you as you do this, day after day after day, right up to the end of the age.”

Young People's Division (YPD)

Our Young People's Department was re-organized in 2016 with Sister Psontia Fowler as the new Youth Director. Aaliyah Averhart serves as President and DaMarius Harp serves as Vice-President. The YPD provides meaningful youth training programs and opportunities for leadership experiences in all areas of church ministry. It also provides outlets for youth through fellowship, learning and fun. Our youth meet for 'Fun Friday's' where they are helped with homework and relax after a busy school week.

The Puppets of Fire

The Puppets of Fire were first organized in 2003 under the direction of the Revs. Linda and Tom Winters.  Currently Puppets of Fire is under the direction of Aaliyah Averhart.  A typical presentation incorporates dance, song and animation, and are designed to convert the WORD to daily life, to which youth and adults can relate. All of this is presented to the glory of God using professional color and black lights, with a variety of background scenery and props.

The Voices of Fresh Fire

The Voices of Fresh Fire is a ministry on fire for Jesus, seeking to lift up the word of God and encourage the Saints each Sunday morning through Praise and Worship Service.  They have also competed in the Black Arts Festival Gospel Competition!

Emerging Praise In Christ (E.P.I.C.) Sign Language Ministry

As we go through life daily, we sometimes do not take the time to realize how blessed we are. Many have all 5 senses; taste, touch, sight, smell, and hearing. Where one is weak, the others are stronger. EPIC uses American Sign Language to worship God and minister to others, so that they not only learn to appreciate being able to utilize their, sense but so they can for one moment see how the hearing impaired can still experience the anointing and ministering through song by following the hands.

Women of Worth (W.O.W.) Ministry

As women, we find ourselves wondering what is our Worth, we find ourselves being compared amongst our siblings, friends, coworkers and cliques.   We find ourselves being submerged in unhealthy relationships; because we don’t understand the significance of our Worth!  There are times women will lower their values just because they forget their worth and start worshipping toxic relationships.

Scripture tell us in Jeremiah 1:5, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart;” God set us apart in our mother's womb.  He knows the purpose, plans and positions in our lives.  We must have Trust, Faith and Confidence to depend on him ~ Women of Worth!!

Usher Ministry

The Usher Ministry serves every person that enters Fresh Fire with a personable, loving and accommodating experience; exuding a love for Christ. The ministry also helps provide order to the worship service.

Culinary Ministry

The Culinary Ministry provides meals for numerous occasions: Meetings, Breakfast, Luncheons, Weddings, Funerals, Anniversaries and much more. Through our service, we get the opportunity to connect with the community as well as our Church Family! We often use members of the community and KPEP to help with our events and which also gives us time to evangelize and uplift through the process.

Lucille Crawford Women's Missionary Society (W.M.S.)

The local W.M.S. assists families in need with items such as food baskets, toiletries, etc. We study to show ourselves approved and are called to strengthen our faith and to continue the ministry of Jesus Christ - by service and witness in the world.
